Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert is not technically part of Toyota Safety Sense 3.0. Toyota makes it standard across the 2027 Corolla range anyway.

Holds a following gap you select and operates from highway cruising speeds all the way down to a complete stop, resuming when traffic ahead begins moving again. On a congested stretch of I-15, that means the system keeps working in the stop-and-go instead of switching off below a speed threshold.
Proactive Driving Assist
Runs quietly in the background whenever you are driving. Deceleration assist eases off the throttle and applies gentle braking as you approach a curve or close on a slower vehicle. Obstacle anticipation adds light steering support when you pass a pedestrian or object near the edge of the road. Neither takes over the drive. Both just smooth out inputs you would otherwise make yourself.
